Best Makeup Removers

Cost - $3
Where I bought it - Target

Wipes or cloths are a quick and easy way to take off all your makeup. I have to admit I never use to like them and I do not know why but I am a huge fan now! I have tried loads of different brands and none we that great, either they bothered my skin, didn't fully remove my makeup or they left my skin feeling strange. I have even tried the MAC makeup wipes and they irritated my skin so much! I was red and itchy right after using one.
Now that is it spring and summer is coming up makeup wipes are a must have to keep in your bag or car. You never know when you want to jump in the pool or head to the beach to tan and you would not want your makeup running or getting in the way. Keeping these wipes by your bed is another must have stop, everyone has those nights when you are super lazy and they do not want to move out of bed, if these wipes are on your night stand you can just use one and not have to worry about going to bed with makeup on your face. And since these wipes are only 3 dollars they are affordable enough to buy multiples and put in different stops ;)

Cost - under $5
Where I bought it - Wal-Mart

While this product says it is oil free my skin still have the oily feeling after using it. I hate that feeling and that is why I do not reach for this product when taking off my makeup every night. However, it is an amazing makeup remover it can take everything and I mean everything off! If you like liquid makeup removers I have to tell you to try this one out.
The one time I do use this makeup remover is when I need to take off my false eyelashes or I have some eye lash glue stuck on my lash line/eye lashes. No other makeup remover can take that stubborn glue off.

Cost - $3-$4
Where I bought it - Wal-Mart

As I said in the video this is my favorite makeup remover out of all of them. It is the most gentle makeup remover I have ever used and the best part is it can still take off of your makeup even though it is that gentle. I can put it on my eyes and not worry about them burning or stinging and my eye liner, mascara, and eye shadows will easily be removed.
While this makeup remover does not foam when you add water I still feel as though it can cleanse my face. A little goes a long way with this product, which I love, and one bottle has lasted me quite sometime. I have just bought a new bottle and I know I will keep on uses this makeup remover, unless I find a better one ... which will be hard ;) haha

Cost - $6.99
Where I bought it - Wal-Mart

Before finding my St. Ives makeup remover this was my go to makeup remover for years! I loved it and I still do, I am just enjoying the St. Ives a little more now. This makeup remover was able to remove my makeup but it also deep cleaned my skin. I felt my skin tightening after I washed my face, and it was a tight "my pores are shrinking" my face is getting deep cleaned type of feeling not "my face is drying out and being stripped" kind of feeling.
The one downside to this product is when you tried to remove your eye makeup if this got in your eyes they would burn and string. I can not recommend using this to remove your eye makeup because of that problem but if you want to use this only for your face then it is perfect.
I also really like that when ever I used this I did not have to wash my face after with another cleanser, this is a great two in one kind of product. If only it would remove eye makeup a little better.

Get Ready for Prom ft. Claire's

I have always been a fan of Claire's. I shopped there as a kid and still shop there for cute jewelry today. That is one of the many things that I love about that store, they have something for every age along with every style and look you are going for. Also to me they are an affordable store and the piece of jewelry hold up and last a while. I know now they are carrying so many other items beside jewelry and I really look forward to trying out some of their new items :)

Pearls are such a classic piece or jewelry and they complaint the dress I am wearing so well.
As I showed in the video this glass pearl necklace is the perfect length and be be worn a handful of different ways depending on your dress and the earrings just pull the look together.

When your dress is a little more detailed on you do not want jewelry that will take away from it and you do not want to look like you have to much going on.
These earrings and bracelet go so well with the dress and match perfectly.

Even with a dramatic dress jewelry is a must.
A simple but elegant hair accessory is the perfect match for this dress and the bracelet is a nice small touch.

These wonderful earrings are going to be given away to one lucky girl! To enter watch the video below and leave a comment letting me know what your prom style is :)

IMATS Haul

Royal & Langnickel
I paid 10 dollars for these brushes but online they are $19.99
The case is very fun and pink is one of my favorite colors.
As I said before I do not travel much so I like to use these brushes for everyday use. I believe these brushes are as high of quality as the companies full size brushes.
Powder Brush - Concealer & Lid Brush - Angled Liner & Angled Sponge Brush - Angled Blending & Fluffy Blending Brush - Paddle Foundation Brush

Royal & Langnickel
I paid 4 dollars for this brush but online it is $9.99
This brush is awesome. It is multi-purpose and a necessity in everyones collection. I love how it can apply shadow and then nicely blend it out.
The brush is perfectly tapered and the perfect density and fluffiness.

Inglot Cosmetics
The price ranges depending on what shape you buy and how many shadow you want in the palette

AMC 62 - AMC 61 - MATTE 376 - AMC 53 - AMC Shine 31

PEARL 423 - D.S 483 - PEARL 420 - AMC Shine 42 - AMC Shine 07

These shadows have the best color pay off ever. They are smooth and super pigmented. The eye shadows with glitter in them have the glitter nicely blended in, you do not feel the glitter in the colors at all.

MATTE 373 - Brow Powder 564 - I could not get this color out!! - Brow Powder 563 - AMC 63

I thought these colors would make the perfect matte smokey eye! They are pigmented but not chalky at all and two of the colors are made to use for your eye brows but they are perfect eye shadow colors for me :)

H&M
Nudes are very in this season with anything you wear from makeup and beauty products to shoes and eye wear.
I love this shape and color. This pair looks like they cost more than they really did. While I have my Gucci sunglasses I still like inexpensive frames too and I have no problem switching between my pairs.

Pre IMATS Haul

Sephora
$23
This dry shampoo was a repurchase but used the normal one (yellow bottle) and this bottle is the invisible kind so I should not have a problem with white residue.

Sephora
$23
I have been looking for a sea salt spray because I love that beachy hair look. I tried it out once and I think I am going to like it.

Sephora
$17
I am in LOVE with this product. I have tried all the steps in this 3 piece system and I do not like any of the other ones but I do not know what I would do with out this product. This is my 3rd bottle and I will continue to buy till they stop making it :)

MAC Creme d' Nude & Playing Koi*
MAC Cosmetics
$14.50

Playing Koi is from the Quite Cute collection and is limited edition. The color is a stain finish and is quite creamy, which makes it look even better on. While I love the color it is definitely super dramatic and not a everyday color, it would look very nice with a dark smokey eye and I would love to wear it when I go out at night.

Temptalia explains it as a "creamy white peach pink" and I think that is a good explanation of the color. I personally think it is very neon and vibrant but I still love it!!

Creme d' Nude is a popular MAC color and is part of their permanent collection. I can not believe I did not own it before. It is a cremesheen so it does not look dry or cakey on your lips. It was one of MAC's more wearable nudes since it is more of a pink, flesh toned nude.

If you are like me and have always wanted this color but just never got it I say go out and buy it now. I do not know how I went so long without it.

Target
$3
WOW! I am in love with this brush for applying my foundation. It gives you a flawless, airbrush application and blends it perfectly into your skin. I use to apply any liquid foundation; either my MAC tinted moisturizer or my Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation.
This powder brush is a "flat top kabuki", the bristles are nice and soft but still densely packed. I really think everyone needs this brush.

Wal-Mart
Just over $3**
I love the other Noxzema face wash I use so when this was recommended to me I had to try it out. This has exfoliating beads in it and I just love when face washes have them, my skin always feels and looks better (as opposed to face washes without exfoliating beads). This wash says that it is for adult skin, I am just not to sure what that means or if it matters but I do think it I enjoy this scrub.

*Playing Koi is sold out online on the MAC cosmetics, Nordstrom, Macy's, and Bloomingdale's websites. Maybe some stores still have it in stock.

**Price in the store at wal-mart. Online prices are different and each store has different prices too.

Spring & Summer Swimwear Trends 2011

Bandeau
I think it is safe to say this one is my favorite bathing suit top! I love the colors and the anchor detail in the center of the top.
I found this at Target. I did not know this was a juniors bathing suit till I looked on the web site that is why I think the top was a little small, I felt as though it did not give me the best coverage and that is why I added the strap it came with.

Mix and Match
This top is perfect to go with almost any bottom. It came in a few different colors but I felt like I would get the most wear out of a classic black top. The strap on the top is removable and just added extract support. The bottom is fun and different and I think it is great that it has little stars in the print.
I bought both the Top & Bottom from Target
(I could not find the link to the bottom)

Bright Colors
A bright fun color like yellow is perfect for summer, it is great to show off how tan you got! And the flower detail is such a nice touch.
I bought this bathing suit last season but Target has plenty of fun bright colors this season too.

Detailed Bottom
Sometimes a fun bottom like this one would just look better with a simple top, you do not want to have to much going on. And having a detail like cheetah heads draws the eye to ones hips ;)
I purchased this one at the Victoria's Secret Outlet at least a year ago. But online and in select stores VS has a handful of bathing suits similar to this one.

Skirted Bottom
I think a skirted bottom is very cute. And it is not only perfect for those days that you are feeling a little self conscience but really any day!
I bought this from Kohl's last year and it is the brand ELLE. But a skirted bottom bathing suit can be found almost anywhere, it is a popular and cute trend. I have seen it everywhere from Bloomingdales to Target.

Covered Stomach
This is one of the most flattering styles. The ruched sides and ruffles along the bottom are a perfect touch to this coral orange suit. And I love that the bottom is separate so you can pair it with a bikini top if you, and I think a white one would look awesome with such a fun bright color!!
I found this great suit at Kohl's last year and the brand is ELLE. While they do not carry the exact same one they have similar ones at Kohl's and a handful of other stores.

Conservative Bikini
Not all bathing suits have to be "super sexy" and the tops being contacted with fabric and the full bottom make this an ideal bathing suit for more family appropriate outings.
I found this bathing suit at Ann Taylor a year or so ago but this conservative cut can be found at plenty of stores.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Disaster!!

How cute would those look together!
The Salon Effects on my all my nails and then that awesome
Sinful nail polish color on my ring fingers :)
It is in the color Pinky Glitter and was only $1.99 from Target.

.....

And I have said many time how much I love these
Salon Effects and I have been non stop raving about them
BUT this package was disaster!!

The strips were hard and snapped easily. Most of them would not even stick to my nail.
It was like they were dried out but all the packaging was sealed.

When I finally got one to stick to my nail this is what happened.

They look terrible and as you can tell with my pinky nail I had to try and
put two strips together because I ran out of strips that were wide enough.

The mess I made!
I used up all the nail strips
and I did not even like how they came out.

I ended up just removing all the nails and painting them another color.

I do not know if I will buy another solid color from the line but I almost want to give it another try but if it fails again it will be a total waste of money!
